The first regular season matchup with Caitlin Clark and the Fever.

Atlanta — The Atlanta Dream will be in a showdown tonight against the Indiana Fever. The Dream will enter the game as the favorites as they have the better record at 5-5. The game will be played at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.

All eyes will be on Fever superstar, Caitlin Clark, as she continues to dazzle with her exceptional playmaking and scoring abilities. Clark, widely regarded as one of the better rookies in the league, has experienced her ups and downs like most rookies, as she is averaging 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. Her combination of speed, agility, and basketball IQ has made her a nightmare for opposing defenses and a joy for fans to watch.

Tonight, she’ll be looking to continue her All-Star caliber performance and lead her team to another victory. The Fever’s overall record on the season is 3-10. Clark has such a huge fanbase that the Dream had to move their two home games against the Fever to State Farm Arena.

The Dream enter the game coming off a disappointing lost to the Washington Mystics on Tuesday night. The Dream are 3-1 on the road as they look to continue their winning ways on the road.

A key matchup for the Dream will be Rhyne Howard vs Clark. Howard is second in the league with 2.5 steals per game. She does a great job of moving her feet and playing aggressive defense.

In the Dream’s last game, Howard became the youngest player in WNBA history to make 200 career 3-pointers. The former Kentucky guard passed Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson.

Tonight’s game has the potential for others to achieve significant milestones. Nia Coffey is narrowing in on 1,000 career points as she is 26 points away. Allisha Gray only needs 16 more rebounds to achieve a 1,000. And Tina Charles will need nine more offensive rebounds to become the third all-time leading offensive rebounds in WNBA history.
