Danny Ferry has formally interviewed for the Atlanta Hawks’ president of basketball operations position. Ferry previously had the job from 2012 until 2015. Ferry later became a special advisor to the general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans in 2016.
Ferry has most recently served as a consultant with the San Antonio Spurs since 2020.
Calvin Booth and Monte McNair have also interviewed for the Hawks’ vacancy. Booth and McNair each recently vacated their positions as lead basketball operations decision-maker with the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings, respectively.
The Hawks have also had interest in Bob Myers, who is expected to remain in broadcasting.
The incoming head decision-maker with the Hawks will be paired with incumbent general manager Onsi Saleh.
