Tonight, the Atlanta Hawks will try and keep their season alive in Game 5 vs. the Miami Heat. Unfortunately, they’re going to be without one of their top players.
Bogdan Bogdanovic has officially been ruled out of tonight’s postseason clash. He’s dealing with knee soreness and won’t be able to give it a go.
Bogdanovic made a big impact for the Hawks in Games 2 and 3, totaling 27 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. However, he was mostly ineffective in Game 4 as he mustered just four points on 1-of-6 shooting in 21 minutes.
Atlanta will now have to rely on Danilo Gallinari and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot in Bogdanovic’s absence.

If the Hawks can’t win tonight, they’ll see their season come to an end. They’d at least like to avoid another blowout loss.
The Heat stormed to a 110-86 victory over the Hawks in Game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead on Sunday. Jimmy Butler scored 36 and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.
Trae Young, meanwhile, was held to just nine points in what proved to be a disastrous performance. The Hawks will have to find ways to get him going early and often to have a chance in Game 5.
Atlanta takes on the Heat in Miami tonight at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be on NBA TV.
