Great bit of maneuvering.
With the 13th overall pick — their only draft pick coming into tonight (barring another trade) — the Atlanta Hawks have decided to move down and pick up additional draft capital. Shams Charania of ESPN has this report:
The Atlanta Hawks are trading the No. 13 pick in the Draft to the New Orleans Pelicans for the No. 23 pick and an unprotected 2026 first round pick (most favorable of New Orleans and Milwaukee), sources tell ESPN.

This gives the Hawks two first-round picks next year (this one plus the least favorable of the Hawks and Spurs picks from the original Dejounte Murray trade) to move down ten spots in this draft. This is a shrewd move for new general manager Onsi Saleh to begin to restock the draft cabinet for the Hawks.
