Atlanta welcomes back the floor-stretching forward.
Late yesterday, the Hawks made another roster move. Brad Rowland of the Locked on Hawks podcast broke the news that Atlanta had brought back a player on a two-way contract:

Jacob Toppin joined the Hawks last season on March 4th, although he spent the majority of his time (eight games) from then until the end of the G League season with the College Park Skyhawks.
He only played one game for the Hawks last season — the regular season finale against the Orlando Magic where he dropped 17 points (on 6-for-12 shooting and 5-for-8 shooting from three) and added four rebounds and two assists.
Toppin had already agreed to play for the Hawks in the 2025 Las Vegas Summer League, but this transaction means he’ll likely join the Hawks for training camp and beyond for the upcoming regular season.
The move means two of three possible two-way slots are now filled alongside Eli Ndiaye.
