Before last night’s first Play-In game, Charles Barkley bet Shaquille O’Neal “a billion” dollars that the Miami Heat would take down the Atlanta Hawks.
The away-team Hawks would then go on to defeat the Heat with a 116-105 final score.
After the game, Atlanta point guard Trae Young shared a hilarious Twitter post directed at Barkley.
“@SHAQ let em know..” Young wrote alongside a GIF that said “Bring Me My Money.”

Young struggled with his shooting percentage, but put up a solid stat line in this playoff-clinching win. The 24-year-old points guard finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
With this win, the Hawks clinched the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference and will face off against the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics in Round 1. After their loss, the Heat will take on the winner of tonight’s Bulls-Raptors matchup for the final postseason spot in the East.
