NBA Twitter reacted to the move on Sunday night.
“Nice ‘five year’ deal for Quin. Two years and he’ll get all tuckered out again and the Hawks will be paying him to advise the Lakers,” a user replied.

“Quin is excellent,” tweeted Dan Wolken. “Tremendous coup for Atlanta. If this doesn’t work, then it’s time to make big changes but you cannot judge the current group based on what they did under McMillan whose style is completely outdated.”
