N’Faly Dante sustained a right knee injury during the College Park Skyhawks game vs. Texas during the NBA G League Winter Showcase in Orlando, Florida on December 19. Following an MRI at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, Dante was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee.
Dante will undergo surgery in January and will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Dante signed a two-year, $4.5 million offer sheet with the Atlanta Hawks in the offseason that the Houston Rockets declined to match.
Dante had appeared in four games with the Hawks. In four G League games, Dante averaged 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 16.2 minutes.
