There is currently no trade market for Trae Young, according to Tim MacMahon of The Hoop Collective.
“If there was a real market for Trae Young, he’d be somewhere else right now,” said MacMahon.
Young has been the frequent target of trade rumors throughout the summer, though the market has also been described as “chilly.“
The Jazz reportedly explored trade scenarios surrounding Young. Young has also been a rumored target of the Spurs.
“The San Antonio Spurs, if they wanted Trae Young, they easily could have gone and gotten him … there wasn’t a real market for Trae Young,” added MacMahon.
