The Atlanta Braves will go for a third-straight win Friday night when they begin a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Lefty Ray Kerr will make his first career start for Atlanta while the Pirates will go with lefty Bailey Falter.
Travis d’Arnaud is back in the lineup for the series opener and will be hitting fifth. Adam Duvall gets the start in left against the lefty. Zack Short is back at third base with Austin Riley out of the lineup for the 12th straight game.

For the Pirates, Yasmani Grandal will get the start behind the plate. Michael A. Taylor will be in center field and will hit ninth.
