Because you may be disappointed with the latter
Joey Wentz completely shoved in his four innings. He picked up six swings and misses and only gave up two hits and a walk. Michael Harris hit his first home run in five weeks and his first walk in two months. Nacho Alvarez picked up two hits. And Ozzie Albies is looking much more like his former self.
These are the kinds of things that I’m interested in seeing. Preparations for 2026 and beyond started two weeks ago. The Braves still could possibly make a playoff run, but I don’t understand how. The pitching staff has one starter, some decent MIRPs, and not much else. The players that the Braves are likely willing to trade don’t really have any value.
I don’t blame you for being angry. I’m disappointed but my day is not ruined. The Yankees are good at hitting and no one said their pitching was good right now. Their hitters have been doing it all year.
