Hurston Waldrep looks to get back on track after a bad start to the 2025 season
Gwinnett Stripers at Durham Bulls – 6:35 PM ET
Probable Starters
GWI: Hurston Waldrep, 2-2 7.04 ERA
DUR: Joe Boyle, 2-2 1.72 ERA
The Stripers look to build off of last nights 9th inning victory by sending out Hurston Waldrep to face off against Joe Boyle who has been great for the Durham Bulls. Jarred Kelenic remains a player to be watched as he’s coming off a near cycle where he went 3-for-4 with a run, RBI, triple, homer, and double. Carlos Rodríguez continues to make contact with the ball and is now hitting .286 on the season, though the OPS is down to .644. One thing to watch for will be Craig Kimbrel who looked solid and picked up the win for the Stripers yesterday. Will Gwinnett use him two days in a row to prepare him for the majors? Something to monitor.
Birmingham Barons at Columbus Clingstones – 7:05 PM ET
Probable Starters
BIR: TBD
COL: TBD
The Clingstones exploded for 13 runs last night and it had a lot to do with the first four of Cody Milligan, Cal Conley, Ethan Workinger, and David McCabe who each had at least two hits. Workinger continues to absolutely tear the cover off of the ball and had a pair of homers yesterday. David McCabe went 2-for-2 with a pair of walks and continues to put up quality at bat after quality at bat.
Greenville Drive at Rome Emperors – 7:00 PM ET

The Emperors will be looking for revenge against the Drive who shut them out yesterday 6-0. They hand the ball over to Adam Maier who is coming off of a pair of great back-to-back starts. Players to watch for the Emperors include Patrick Clohisy, who picked up his 17th and 18th stolen bases of the season yesterday, EJ Exposito, and Ambioris Tavarez. Tavarez righted his ship yesterday as well going 1-for-3 with a walk and his OPS is now up to .728 on the season.
