They Braves are continuing to find a way to get their dynamic duo of catchers into the lineup at the same time.
The lineups are out for tonight’s second-half opener between the Atlanta Braves and the New York Yankees. The Braves clearly feel like they’ve got a good thing going by having both Drake Baldwin and Sean Murphy in the lineup and sure enough, Brian Snitker seems determined to keep going with this option for the time being.

Jurickson Profar continues to lead off as well, as the Braves have decided to put Ronald Acuña Jr. in the three slot in the time being. Honestly, I’d say that the top half of this order isn’t bad at all. The bottom half is the major question mark but either way, they figure to have their hands full trying to keep up with New York’s offense this evening, regardless.

It sure would’ve been fun to have Max Fried pitch in his return to Truist Park but instead, Ian Hamilton is getting the ball for tonight’s game as Fried is dealing with a blister. He did make the trip though and was busy signing autographs for anybody who wanted one during batting practice.
This guy look familiar to y’all?

Anyways, the game is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. ET but the grounds crew is currently on the field with the tarp as it’s currently cloudy and windy here at the ballpark at the moment. Keep it locked right here, as we’ll let you know if the tarp goes on the field and whether or not the start to tonight’s game gets delayed at the start.
