Battery Power TV returns with a quick preview of the upcoming Winter Meetings.
The Hot Stove is burning and the Atlanta Braves have some burning questions to answer in order to improve their roster.
With the Winter Meetings taking place in Nashville as December begins, Alex Anthopoulos will continue his search for upgrades in the rotation and a vacancy in left field. While some of the top free-agent options are off the board after the signing of Aaron Nola and Sonny Gray, Atlanta still has some arms to choose from and Anthopoulos could always fill the need via trade.
Atlanta has already significantly bolstered its bullpen with the acquisitions of Aaron Bummer and Reynaldo Lopez, the latter who could get a crack at the rotation if the Braves don’t find another fit, as well as re-signing both Pierce Johnson and Joe Jimenez. That group will join Raisel Iglesias, A.J. Minter and a returning Tyler Matzek in what could be the best bullpen in baseball.
Grant McAuley and Kris Willis discuss all of that on this edition of BPTV. Be sure to like, share, subscribe and check out BatteryPower.com
