He’s baaack (again)
You knew it was coming when the Braves sent Dylan Dodd down to Triple-A Gwinnett after the conclusion of Sunday’s series win in Boston:
The #Braves today reinstated RHP Spencer Strider from the injured list.

For the second time this season, Spencer Strider will return from the Injured List, in time to make Tuesday’s start against the Nationals.
In case you missed it, Strider made his 2025 debut against the Blue Jays in Toronto after missing more than a year with elbow troubles. That 2025 debut wasn’t exactly vintage Strider after the first inning, as he seemed to have trouble getting everything working and then gave up a homer the third time through to Vladimir Guerrero Jr., but it was still heartening to see him, his quads, and his ‘stache on the mound. Then, he hurt a hammy playing catch, and so, we’re now primed for a return to the rotation for one of MLB’s most exciting hurlers.
Strider will presumably start against Mitchell Parker, who did not have a fun time facing the Braves last week, in tomorrow’s season opener in Washington DC.
