Tuiasosopo spent the previous three seasons as Gwinnett’s manager and will assist Weiss with infield duties. He replaced Ron Washington who left this offseason to take over as manager of the Los Angeles Angels.
Goodwin spent the prior two seasons as a roving instructor in the Braves’ system. He previously served as first base coach for the New York Mets 2012-17 and Boston Red Sox from 2018-21. He replaced Eric Young Sr. who left to join Washington’s staff with the Angels.
Abreu comes over from the Houston Astros organization where he served as the team’s Triple A pitching coach for the previous three seasons. He is replacing the departed Drew French who left to become the pitching coach of the Baltimore Orioles.
