Atlanta will look to gain ground against the NL East-leading Phillies.
The Atlanta Braves travel north for a quick three-game, mid-week series against the National League East-leading Philadelphia Phillies before returning home to take-on the Boston Red Sox.
After welcoming back outfielder Ronald Acuña, Jr. during the weekend series against the San Diego Padres, Atlanta will hope the 2023 NL MVP will continue his hot-hitting against one the the team’s biggest rivals.
Lost in the excitement of Acuña, Jr.’s return was that Braves dropping their series against the Padres and going 1-4 for the week. Slumping again, the Braves need to win their match-up in Philadelphia or they will fall further behind the division leaders with June right-around-the-corner.
