Miami is starting a lefty, which means that Adam Duvall and David Fletcher are in the lineup.
Both teams have recently released their lineups for tonight’s series opener at Truist Park. The Atlanta Braves are going with what’s become their usual lineup against left-handed pitchers and the Miami Marlins aren’t rocking the boat with their lineup decision, either. Still, it’s worth talking about with a new series ready to start this evening.
Let’s not waste any more time and get right into how the Braves are looking for tonight’s contest:

Ryan Weathers is a lefty, so that means that Adam Duvall and David Fletcher are now in the lineup. Neither Duvall or Fletcher have been setting the world on fire, exactly, so it would be nice to see either one of them take a chance to be productive since they’ve got this current opportunity. For what it’s worth, Austin Riley has a dinger against Ryan Weathers so there’s that.
On the other side of things, here’s how the Marlins are looking:

– Bryce Elder makes his season debut for Atlanta
– Look for Jesus Sanchez to have a nice game. He’s hot and is 4-for-12 with two doubles, a triple, and a homer in his career vs Elder pic.twitter.com/cbIM9FID98— Isaac Azout (@IsaacAzout) April 22, 2024
This is the same lineup that the Marlins had for their series finale in Chicago on Sunday. Miami will surely be hoping that they can get some consistent production from players not named Bryan De La Cruz and Jazz Chisholm Jr., as the lineup doesn’t exactly have a ton of hot hitters at the moment.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to start at 7:20 P.M. E.T. and can be seen on Bally Sports South and listened to on 93.7 FM/680 The Fan.
