Atlanta welcomes in some of the biggest stars in the game with refrains of, “Beat LA! Beat LA! Beat LA!”
The Atlanta Braves return home to Truist Park to start the month of May with revenge on their minds as they clash with the Los Angeles Dodgers. After wrapping up an April with a 14-16 record after a 4-2 road trip to end of the month, the Braves were able to climb out of the cellar in the NL East.
The Braves were swept by the Dodgers to end a disastrous 0-7 road trip to start the season but spent the last-half of April looking more like the team most expected them to be heading into the regular season.
Along with the return of long-time Braves Freddie Freeman, the series against LA gives fans a chance to see Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani in-person for the only time in the regular season. With the All-Star Game in Atlanta this year, there is a chance several of those stars may return to Georgia in July.
The Dodgers are battling the San Diego Padres, San Fransisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks for the NL West Division in what is one of the best divisions in baseball.
This will be the final contest of the regular season between the Braves and Dodgers in 2025.
Here are the start times for each of this weekend’s games against the Dodgers.
