Atlanta will take on the Athletics in a battle of who could care less.
The 2025 Atlanta Braves are one of the worst teams in baseball.
That’s where things stand now after another lost home stand. Atlanta dropped two-out-of-three to the Los Angeles Angels and then proceeded get swept at by the Baltimore Orioles.
Atlanta is now 39-50 and 11 games below .500.
Now the team heads west to take on the Athletics in West Sacramento where they will play in yet another Triple-A park (the team played against the Tampa Bay Rays in one earlier this season).
The Athletics, like the Braves, aren’t good. As a matter of fact they are bad but the A’s didn’t have the expectations coming into the season that the Braves did so that make it not as bad, maybe.
The A’s are in last place in the AL West but feature All-Star starting shortstop, rookie Jacob Wilson and several other young, promising position players. Similar to the O’s, the A’s have struggled more on the mound, which make sense given their record, but seems to matter little with facing the Braves line-up.
It will be three late-night games on the East Coast for Atlanta. Tune in and see if the Braves can turn the corner in California, if you dare.
