Ronald Acuña Jr. looks to continue his rehabbing with back-to-back starts in the Stripers outfield.

Gwinnett Stripers at Louisville Bats – 6:35 PM ET

Pitching Probables

GWI: Nathan Wiles, 1-3 2.23 ERA

LOU: Rhett Lowder, 0-1 108.00 ERA

The Stripers, fresh off the heels of a come from behind victory, scoring 3 in the 9th inning of yesterday’s game. Ronald Acuña went 1-for-4 with a double with an exit velocity of 101 MPH and will likely man right field for the Stripers. Jarred Kelenic, and Carlos Rodríguez have done well in the second and third for the Stripers and have provided a lot hitting behind Ronald. James McCann has been a revelation at the catching position for the Stripers – he went 1-for-5 and is now hitting .307 with an .821 OPS. It’s no surprise the Stripers have looked recharged with Ronald at the top of the lineup and are a fun team to watch at the moment with some strong pitching. They will have their hands full as Louisville counters with one of MLB’s top prospects in Rhett Lowder.

Montgomery Biscuits at Columbus Clingstones – 5:45 PM ET

Pitching Probables

MNT: Ty Cummings, 2-1 3.51 ERA

CLB: Blake Burkhalter, 1-3 3.21 ERA

The Clingstones are riding high after a dominant pitching performance by Ian Mejia fueling them to a 5-1 over the Biscuits yesterday. They look to keep the momentum going and turn to Blake Burkhalter in game one of the double header. Blake, while he hasn’t had the longest of outings, has been great over his last two starts with a 2.25 ERA across eight innings. Offensively they are led by third baseman David McCabe who went 2-for-4 and raised his OPS to .803 on the season. Hitting ahead of them and enjoying a very strong season is Ethan Workinger who has an .856 OPS on the season. Outside of those you have a the likes of Cal Conley, Drew Compton, Kevin Kilpatrick Jr. – players who maybe aren’t performing at the highest levels right now but overall you know you can count on them.

Columbus Clingstones at Montgomery Biscuits – Game 2

Pitching Probables

CLB: Landon Harper, 1-0 2.25 ERA

MNT: Brody Hopkins, 2-1 3.79 ERA

This is a makeup game of an April 6th game and Landon Harper will take to the mound. Landon has been nothing short of sensational going in between starting and relieving for the Clingstones. Across 9 appearances he has a 2.25 ERA, 0.821 WHIP, and is striking out 8.4 per 9, while limiting his walks to just 1.3 per 9.

Rome Emperors at Hub City Spartanburgers – 6:35 PM ET

Pitching Probables

ROM: TBD

HBS: Josh Trentadue, 1-1 1.64 ERA

After a masterful 20 whiff start by Herick Hernandez, that unfortunately did not lead to a win for the Emperors, Rome will be out for revenge against the Hub City Spartanburgers. After combining for us four hits yesterday, Rome will be out for blood and looking up to put up a crooked number for revenge. Players to watch for the Emperors offense include Patrick Clohisy, Titus Dumitru, Will Verdung, EJ Exposito, and Ambioris Tavarez who hit 2 through 6 in the lineup.

Charleston RiverDogs at Augusta GreenJackets – 7:05 PM ET

Pitching Probables

CHR: Ryan Andrade, 3-1 2.06 ERA

AUG: Jeremy Reyes, 0-2 2.61 ERA

Jeremy Reyes takes to the mound for his fourth start of the season and third since returning from injury. Jeremy sat in the mid-to-high 90s in his previous start and started to look like the Jeremy Reyes that created all types of buzz last season. Behind him will be the talented GreenJackets offense led by the powerful quintet of John Gil, Owen Carey, Eric Hartman, Isaiah Drake, and Nick Montgomery. Owen, still just 18, has had a revelation of a first professional season hitting .303 with an .812 OPS and just had his first professional walk off hit in the GreenJackets dramatic 5-4 win last night.
