Atlanta Braves skipper Brian Snitker announced that left-hander Aaron Bummer would start Saturday’s bullpen game against the Baltimore Orioles.

The New York Yankees placed starting pitcher Clarke Schmidt on the 15-day injured list with right forearm tightness. He underwent an MRI Friday, and the team is still evaluating the scan.
The Chicago Cubs placed starting pitcher Jameson Taillon on the 15-day injured list with a right calf strain. He is expected to miss more than a month.
The Washington Nationals placed right-hander Trevor Williams on the 15-day injured list with an elbow sprain.
