Unfortunately, more of the same.
It is more than fair to suggest that the two most disappointing teams in baseball this season met over the weekend in Atlanta.
And, unfortunately, the Braves made sure there was little debate as to who currently is the biggest disappointment after being swept by the Orioles. It is the same story, as the lack of offense just leaves so little room for error. Even with a bit of power retuning over the weekend via Matt Olson, Sean Murphy, and others, it still was not enough.
Now, the Braves go out on the road hoping to end the first half of the season with any sense of positivity at all. Even with the All-Star Break just a week away and all eyes will be on Atlanta, there just seems very little to be excited about for the 2025 season.
