If there is one positive about the Atlanta Braves this this year, it is that if they face a quality opponent not from the NL West, they typically do pretty well (10-6 vs non NL West teams with a .550 or better W% this year.)
They also are now 4-0 against the rival Mets this season after last night’s dramatic 3-2 victory to start the series in New York. Spencer Schwellenbach added to his All-Star resume, Ronald Acuna Jr. remained scolding hot, and Dylan Lee one of the best bullpen performances of the year.
It is a good start to what must be a good week for Atlanta. They now will look to continue their success with Spencer Strider on the mound on Tuesday.
