The Atlanta Braves completed the three-game sweep of the New York Mets after Thursday night’s 7-1 victory. Spencer Strider put together another impressive start, going six innings and surrendering the Mets’ lone run. He struck out eight and surrendered a base on balls.
Atlanta played well on all cylinders as the offense worked to tally eight hits. Ozzie Albies, Drake Baldwin, and Matt Olson each had multiple RBI.

Thursday night ended the homestand, and the Braves are off to Miami for a three game set with the Fish.

20-year-old Didier Fuentes will reportedly be called up today to start in Miami. The majors will be his fourth level in two months. To make room on the roster, Jose Ruiz was designated for assignment.

The Philadelphia Phillies transferred right-hander Aaron Nola to the 60-day injured list. He originally landed on the IL Mid-May with an ankle injury but is now battling a rib cage injury.
The Arizona Diamondbacks placed catcher Gabriel Moreno on the 10-day injured list with a right hand contusion. The move is retroactive to June 16.
San Diego Padres right-hander Michael King is not likely to return before the All-Star break. He has been shut down nearly a month with a pinched nerve in his shoulder.
