Another crucial week of of contests ahead for the Braves.

Two truths against for the Atlanta Braves currently.

Yes, they have played significantly better baseball over the past two weeks compared how they played the previous three weeks.

However, they are still not playing to level that they need to play for several weeks in a row to truly have a good shot at the postseason.

After a 5-3 loss to the Marlins on Sunday, offensive struggles over the weekend once again slowed down momentum from sweeping the Mets earlier in the week. With seven straight games vs the Mets and Phillies this week, Atlanta’s direction for the second half of the season could easily be swayed by how they do this week. The offense must show back up in a big way.
