The Braves ended the weekend with a needed win.
The Braves entered Sunday with the chance of not only being swept by the dodgers for the second time this season, but also going five games below .500 this season. Fortunately, Austin Riley blasted two homers while both Bryce Elder and the bullpen were mostly excellent. The Braves still find themselves in a less than ideal situation to start the season, but they have another stretch ahead of them where they can make up some ground. Hopefully, the rest of the offense will once again rise to the occasion to get some wins.
