Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley exited Friday night’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals before his third plate appearance. The club announced his exit was a result of lower abdominal tightness.

Despite Riley’s exit, the Braves still got back in the win column after defeating the Cards 6-5.

The Tampa Bay Rays placed infielder Brandon Lowe on the 10-day injured list due to left oblique tightness. The move is retroactive to July 8th.
New York Mets OF/DH Jesse Winker has been placed on the 10-day injured list with back inflammation. He will be treated with medication for the next four to seven days.
