Though Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley was eligible to return from the injured list, it was reported that he may not be activated until Friday.
Snit said Riley was still dealing with a shade of discomfort today. So, they decided to wait a couple days to activate him. He’ll likely play Friday in Texas

Riley landed on the 10-day injured list on July 12th due to a strained right abdomen. Skipper Brian Snitker said he did not experience a setback, but the club is just playing it safe. Until Riley’s return, we’ve got Nacho Alvarez Jr. in the hot corner.

The Tampa Bay Rays placed infielder Brandon Lowe on the 10-day injured list with tendinitis in his left ankle.
