MLB: Atlanta Braves at Washington Nationals

Atlanta Braves news and notes from Friday.

The Atlanta Braves had a pitiful night offensively in Friday’s 2-1 loss to the Washington Nationals. Although Chris Sale was great with ten strikeouts, it wasn’t enough to down the division rivals.

The Braves’ lone run came in the eighth when Matt Olson singled to score Marcell Ozuna.
