Rosario appeared in just three games for the Braves this season, where he went hitless and logged eight innings in right field.

As for Williams, he will likely be used as a pinch runner, considering his underwhelming career stat line in other areas.

More Braves News:

A two-run ninth inning wasn’t enough for the Braves, who fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 on Friday.

Hurston Waldrep struck out ten during Thursday’s outing with the Gwinnett Stripers. More in the minor league recap.

Right-hander Luke Sinnard is next up in our Braves Prospect Spotlight series.

MLB News:

The Washington Nationals have released veteran reliever Lucas Sims. With an open roster spot, a corresponding move will be made today.

Former Brave Kyle Wright was pulled from his rehab start due to shoulder fatigue. The Kansas City Royals announced he will likely skip one or two starts before beginning another rehab assignment.

The Cincinnati Reds acquired outfielder Connor Joe from the San Diego Padres in exchange for a minor leaguer and cash considerations.

The Houston Astros placed right-hander Hayden Wesneski on the 15-day injured list due to discomfort in his right elbow. The move is retroactive to May 7.
