Atlanta Braves news and notes from Wednesday
Kevin Seitzer got some nice recognition from Baseball America for the work he has done recently on Wednesday. This is well deserved, as the 2023 Braves’ offense was arguably the best offense in the history of the sport. While he has undeniably been given a premium level of talent to work with by the front office, hitters have made noticeable mechanical adjustments under his guidance that have seemingly paid large dividends. He also deserves significant credit for successfully implementing a clear organizational approach of accepting strikeouts to seek premium contact quality and, more recently, perhaps reigning in strikeouts as well.
