It was a quiet day on the news front for the Atlanta Braves, with no known transactions, hires, or anything of the like. The winter meetings ramp up in Nashville on Sunday, December 3, which will make for a busy week. Until then, we do have a few notes.

The New York Mets officially announced their one-year, $2M deal with infielder Joey Wendle. The club also signed veteran reliever Austin Adams to a one-year major league deal.
The Pittsburgh Pirates have reportedly hired Sarah Gelles as assistant general manager. Gelles previously worked for the Houston Astros as director of research and development.
There is plenty of buzz around free agent reliever Josh Hader, who is currently drawing interest from the Baltimore Orioles.
