The Braves struggles continued on Sunday.
For the first three innings on Sunday, Hurston Waldrep certainly impressed in his debut start against the Nationals.
Unfortunately, that success did not continue into the fourth inning. A seven run inning for the Nationals sparked their third victory of the four game series against the Braves. Atlanta is now 2-6 against the Nationals over the past few weeks, the latest indication of how much the Braves offense is struggling.
A needed off-day will hopefully spark the offense to better success. With the schedule only getting harder in the near future, the Braves offense must find more consistency to get some needed wins.
