Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II left Tuesday night’s contest against the New York Mets in the sixth inning after being hit by a pitch in his elbow.

Fortunately, the pitch did not hit any bones around his elbow, and his exit was likely just precautionary. He is considered day-to-day.

Miami Marlins right-hander Max Meyer will undergo season-ending hip surgery on Friday. He is likely to miss some of Spring Training too.
INF/OF Whit Merrifield announced his retirement on Tuesday. The 36-year-old spent a portion of 2024 with the Braves, where he logged most of his innings at second base.
Texas Rangers left-hander Cody Bradford will undergo season-ending elbow surgery. It is still undetermined whether or not he will undergo the full Tommy John procedure.
The Arizona Diamondbacks officially placed outfielder Corbin Carroll on the injured list with a wrist fracture. The move is retroactive to June 21.
