
Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday
Major League Baseball announced several rule changes that will come into effect in the 2024 season. Among them are pitch clock reductions, basepath reconstruction, mound visit reductions, and more.
One umpire, four players, and six owners make up the Competition Committee to vote on such matters. John Stanton, chairman of the committee, said that “these modifications will improve on last year’s work by the Competition Committee.”
