Atlanta Braves news and notes from Saturday
While the Braves suffered a horrid loss Saturday, they have two superstars who look like they could return this week. Ronald Acuna is only four games into his rehab assignment, but after hitting a homer in the FCL, he’s now gone 3-6 with 6 walks and a homer in 3 triple-A games, along with some hard-hit outs. He hasn’t fully ramped up to playing full games in the field yet, but his bat looks locked in and as ready for his return as it possible could. The Braves are also expecting the return of Spencer Strider early this week, so reinforcements are on the way, and those are about as huge individual reinforcements as you can find for each side of the ball.
