The Atlanta Braves announced Friday that they have claimed right-hander Royber Salinas off waivers from the Athletics.
#Braves claimed RH Royber Salinas off waivers from A’s. Salinas, 23, was a Braves minor leaguer traded to Oakland in Sean Murphy deal. In 10 starts in 2024 in Double A & Triple A, had 4.60 ERA w/ 50 Ks but also 34 walks in 43 IP. In MiLB career: 4.01 ERA, 296 IP, 422 Ks, 174 BB.

23-year-old Salinas was previously with the Braves on a minor league deal, but was sent to Oakland in the trade that brought Sean Murphy to Atlanta. He had a productive 2024 in the A’s organization, logging ten games with a 4.60 ERA.
