A busy Tuesday for the Atlanta Braves.
It has been quite the recovery for Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy, who suffered a left oblique strain on Opening Day. After almost two months, Murphy has returned to the diamond in the form of a rehab assignment with the Gwinnett Stripers, the Braves’ Triple-A affiliate.
In his first at-bat since March 30, Murphy sent a solo shot 449 feet deep to center field.

He caught seven innings, homered, drew a walk, and scored two runs to cap off his night. Hopefully, he will be able to rejoin the Braves soon and provide an offensive boost, as well as some security behind the plate.
