
Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.
The Atlanta Braves suffered another series loss after dropping Thursday night’s contest against the Athletics, 5-4. Spencer Strider got the start and though he did strike out 11, he also allowed three runs in the first inning.
Offensively, the Braves tallied just five hits and the highlight of the night was a home run from both Jurickson Profar and Ozzie Albies.
Next, the Braves head to St. Louis for a three-game set as the first half of the 2025 campaign draws to a close.
