Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.
In absolutely horrendous fashion, the Atlanta Braves dropped Thursday’s contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-10. As expected, there will be several roster changes for Atlanta, who just dropped their fourth straight.
It was first reported that right-hander Craig Kimbrel would be called up from Triple-A. Following this report, it was announced that Dylan Dodd would be recalled to Atlanta, Scott Blewett was designated for assignment, and Daysbel Hernandez would be hitting the injured list.
In addition to bringing up Craig Kimbrel, the #Braves are going to put RH Daysbel Hernández on the IL, a source told The Athletic, and they’ve DFA’d RH Scott Blewett and and recalled LH Dylan Dodd.

With each of these moves, hopefully at least one of these guys will produce and help get the Braves back in the win column.
