Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.
Atlanta Braves pitcher Spencer Strider is continuing to improve after the hamstring injury that sidelined him in April. On Wednesday, he threw a bullpen session and confirmed that he will throw another on Saturday in Pittsburgh.

After his session on Saturday, the team will discuss whether or not a rehab assignment is necessary. Strider has only been able to make one appearance this season, but hopefully he is on the mend and will be back in the rotation shortly.
