The Braves simply cannot find success on Sunday.
This weekend really was a microcosm of the season as whole.
The Braves looked good the first game, the bullpen ruined a good offensive showing in a loss, and then the offense went silent on Sunday. The first chapter of the second half of the season sounds a lot like the first half.
And the funny thing is, if you look closely at the 4-2 loss, you will also find that Matt Olson, Ronald Acuna Jr., and the starting pitching did their jobs. Unfortunately, everyone else struggled. And that is simply the 2025 season in a nutshell.
