Braves stumble into Texas – and here’s how you can watch

Atlanta’s Summer of disillusionment continues.

With less than one week until the trade deadline, the Atlanta Braves waltz into the greater-Dallas-Fort Worth area for a three-game tryst with the Texas Rangers after yet another disappointing a six-game home-stand that saw them drop two-out-of-three games against both the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants.

Similar to the Giants before them, the Rangers are middle-of-the-pack in the American League West within an eyelash of the final Wild Card spot. The Rangers have been surging since about a week before the All-Star break with a decent offense, a good starting rotation and a middling bullpen. The team parted ways with its former closer and long-time Brave Luke Jackson last week and seem primed to make a couple of moves to make a post-season push.

You know the deal with Atlanta. They look great for one game and like crap for two more. The question is more about if they will make a deal while on this road trip that continues to Kansas City and Cincinnati before returning home in early August than if they will get on a hot streak.

Here are the start times for each of this weekend’s games against the Rangers.

  • Friday, July 25 – 8:05 PM EDT
  • Saturday, July 26 – 7:05 PM EDT
  • Sunday, July 27 – 2:35 PM EDT

Broadcast options for these games include:

  • Friday: FanDuel Sports Network South, FanDuel Sports Network Southeast, MLB Network (out-of-market)
  • Saturday: FanDuel Sports Network South, FanDuel Sports Network Southeast
  • Sunday: FanDuel Sports Network South, FanDuel Sports Network Southeast

The Braves games can be heard on the Braves Radio Network. Games are also available to stream on MLB.tv (blackout restrictions apply) and the FanDuel Sports Network (restrictions apply).
