Can Atlanta turn their season around in the city they once called home?
The bungling Atlanta Braves limp into Wisconsin with their season plummeting to depths unseen in a decade. Welcoming them back to there former home are the Milwaukee Brewers, who after a slow start, are above .500 and sitting a few games back in the Wild Card while chasing the NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs.
After another demoralizing series sweep in Californai – this time against the San Francisco Giants – the Braves find themselves 14 games back in the NL East. They are are mired in one of their worst stretches of the decade andit has gotten so bad that the “Barves” terms has resurfaced on social media – a relic of the rebuild era which the team’s play was comically bad. That’s not what was expected of the 2025 Braves, but the last three weeks have brought unwelcome flashbacks to the mid-’10’s.
The Braves will try to break their seven-game losing streak against the Brewers on Monday in what has to be considered a must-win game. At this point, every game is a must-win.
Atlanta will be off on Thursday before welcoming the Colorado Rockies to Truist Park. With the Rockies being historically bad this season, a series win in Milwaukee could be a springboard to getting back into the Wild Card race if they can take care of business against the Rockies.
Here are the start times for each of this week’s games against the Brewers.
