The Braves look to even up the series
The Atlanta Braves got blanked by the Angels last night and look to even up the series as rookie Didier Fuentes makes the third start of his young career.
Fuentes has struggled mightily so far, but one area of strength has been his control. He has only walked one hitter so far. The issue is that hitters are not swinging and missing often. With a whiff rate of 15.8 percent on his fastball so far it clearly has not been a recipe for success.
Hopefully he can turn things around as he faces off against Yusei Kikuchi, the former highly touted international signee who sports a 2.79 ERA.
