Storm’s a-comin…
Saturday night’s middle game between the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers won’t start on time. It’s been raining off and on all day and while we’re currently in the “Off” part at Truist Park, the game still will not start on time and is in a rain delay.
This game will begin in a delay. Who could have seen this one coming?

As Justin Toscano of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution mentioned in the post thread, this is apparently being done to make sure that the starters don’t get burnt since there will be a line of storms rolling through about an hour from now. So I’d imagine that the game will get going once they find a window to play after this line of storms rolls through.
So sit tight, y’all. There will be Braves baseball tonight but it might take a while to wait on it. Make sure to keep refreshing this page for updates as they come in. Thanks for hanging with us!
UPDATE [8:15 p.m. ET]: Good news if you’re reading this and you’re at the ballpark: Concessions are going to be a lot cheaper tonight. Beer’s still full price, though.
The Braves announced there’s a 40% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages.
