The Braves head out on their first western road trip with a three-game series against the Mariners.
The Atlanta Braves will head west Monday where they will begin a six-game road trip with a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners. Atlanta just completed a 7-2 homestand and have the best record in baseball at 19-7. The Mariners come in leading the AL West with a 15-13 record. They got off to a slow start but have won seven of their past 10 games to surge to the top of the division standings. Seattle’s pitching staff is among the best in the majors and should be a good matchup for the Braves.
