Storm’s a-comin’…
The weather forecast for tonight’s game in Philadelphia between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies was always looking bleak and sure enough, it’s too bleak for baseball to be played. The Phillies themselves have announced that this evening’s scheduled game has been postponed due to a bad weather forecast leaving no window in sight for a game to be played tonight.

The good news is that we won’t have to wait until September or something like that to see this game get made up. In fact, we won’t even have to wait a full 24 hours, as these two will be playing a day/night doubleheader on Thursday. I’d imagine that the pitching matchups will stay the same and we’ll also be on the lookout for the Braves to add their 27th man ahead of the doubleheader. For now, it’s time to figure out something else to do since we won’t be seeing the Braves and Phillies engaging in baseball battle tonight.
