The rookie seems to make something happen every time he’s in the lineup.
In a perfect world, the Braves would have an easy solution to getting both Drake Baldwin and Sean Murphy into the lineup on a nightly basis. It would surely help the team’s overall offensive production as approach. But such is life, you can only play one catcher, and short of bumping Marcell Ozuna out of the DH spot (not happening) or sending Baldwin to play left field (which he has never done in his lifetime) it will continue to be a rotating mix of the two catchers.
On Tuesday night, as the Braves go for .500 for the fourth time in two weeks, Baldwin will catch Spencer Schwellenbach and bat fifth. The rest of the lineup remains mostly the same as Monday.
